Humanoid Upper-Limb Robot with Generalized Grasping
2025-08-15
Avatar’s humanoid robot series is built on a self-developed integrated joint actuators , ranging from upper-limb to full-body humanoid models. The model shown in the video is an upper-limb humanoid robot, through multi-modal perception and teleoperation, achieves generalized grasping of unknown or variable objects. Without changing hardware or relying on a single object template, it completes the full workflow from recognition and pose estimation to stable gripping and placement. The system supports rapid deployment, integrated cloud/edge upgrades, and offers safety interlocks, compliant force control, and abnormal obstacle avoidance, covering applications such as 3C product sorting, retail restocking, light manufacturing assembly, and research and education.
As a manufacturer of core robotic components, Avatar is introducing world-class, micron-level precision machining equipment, establishing temperature-controlled machining workshops, and integrating a hybrid solar-thermal energy system. The manufacturing center will feature dedicated areas for high-precision humanoid robot components, joint module production lines, and component workshops, supported by intelligent warehousing and supply chain management systems. Once completed, it will achieve an annual production capacity of 300,000 lightweight joint servo motor significantly boosting manufacturing efficiency and accelerating the mass production of humanoid robots.
