Designed for high-precision dexterous robotic hand joints, this 16mm–30mm miniature actuator integrates an advanced axial flux motor, high-density HDI interconnect board, precision cycloidal gearbox, and absolute magnetic encoder.
Compared with conventional BLDC motors, the axial flux motor delivers 2–4× higher torque density in the same volume, while the HDI structure provides better thermal performance and a more compact design. With quasi-direct drive capability, independent joint control, and force control algorithm support, the actuator enables precise, responsive, and human-like manipulation for humanoid robots, robotic hands, and intelligent grippers.
